Trunk Support Solutions

UniLink Trunk Support Solutions are a highly adjustable thoracic lateral support. They are used to help increase the user's stability and balance while in the chair. Also can serve as a tactile reminder or to correct flexible lateral trunk flexion.

This may help maintain the user in a functional position which prevents further postural decay while diminishing the need for repetitive repositioning of the user during the day.

Short (Swing‑Away)

  • 1 1/2in (3.81cm) shorter than standard swing away.
    1. Use when depth is not as needed (pediatrics).
    2. Helps avoid hardware conflicts and user contact due to links offsetting outward.
  • Links can only be added, not removed.
  • Two (2) points of adjustment in this configuration. Pad depth will also be adjustable!

  • 1 1/2in (3.81cm) shorter than standard swing away.

Hardware Mounting Options

Trunk Hardware can be mounted on many frames.
Available pre-configured mounting assemblies for Courpus 3G and TB3/TB4 backs.
All Seasons bracket allows for quick width adjustments without the need of special tools.
Stealth offers two pad styles for the thoracic laterals Standard and Gel Pads. The standard is padded with a crosslinked foam and our gel pads have passed no known harmful material international testing and can keep it's consistency for temperatures under
Gel pads have passed RESNA WC-1, CAL Prop 65, REACH and RoHS, keep it's consistency for temperatures under and have little to no odor compared to other gels.
